Bio

It all started when a very clumsy, very eager 7 year old decided to make breakfast for her hungry younger brother. It was an egg and cheese omelette and it came out horrible! It was burnt and dismantled but her brother ate it anyway and he was happy because she was able to give him something to eat, and he was no longer hungry. Because of that day, that meal, something special happened. There was not a drive to make sure everything came out better then the last and the passion to make food that made people happy was born.

Since then I have been on a culinary journey. With a love for anything food, whether it be eating it, creating it, or watching it, I can't get enough of it. I attended Monroe College receiving my Associates degree in Culinary Arts and a Bachelors degree in Hospitality Management. I spent time learning from many amazing chefs and people in the industry and was given opportunities that will last a lifetime.

While attending Monroe College, I was specially selected from many applications to go to Italy for 3 months to learn from Italy's elite. We traveled through all of Italy learning all of the regional cuisines, stopping at local restaurants to work under the directions of the head chefs and serve their customers. We got out hands dirty by finding fresh food that was used in all of the food preparations and attended the world famous Acadamia Barilla.

Now at the age of 23, the passion is still kept alive and is growing strong. With the help and support of my family and friends I have been able to use my food to help charities and those less fortunate within my community. I have catered small parties, produced cakes and other pastries, and worked in some of the most amazing kitchens. I have hopes of one day opening a bakery/cafe of my own and I am well on my way of doing so.
